Did someone say FREE FOOD AND DRINK AT DISNEY WORLD?!
Open a whole world of magical cuisine on your 2025 Disney World trip with the Free Dining and Drinks plan!
Whether you fancy a Mickey-shaped pretzel, an iconic turkey leg or something in between, this deal will help you eat your way across the parks with ease. My favorite will always be Dole whip on a hot day and a toffee apple from Epcot.
If you ask my family, we will tell you that booking a Disney holiday is always a great idea. We have only ever been to Disney while they have been offering the free Disney dining plan. On each visit it has saved us over $4500. If we had to spend that on top of the holiday costs, I dont think we could have done it. I know, for certain, that our experinces were hugely enhanced by being able to eat at all the themed restaurants and have characteder meals.
The value is exceptional and its only offered as a UK perk. The Americans we met were furious when they found out what we get offered from the UK - it really is free and SO VERY worth it.
Your dining plan is based on the level of acommodation you choose. The higher the level of acommodation you choose, the more places you can eat and the more memories you can make. Having said that, if you are on a budget, choosing a value hotel is still an amazing option.
Quick Service Dining plan
- Ordering Process: At quick service restaurants, guests usually place their orders at a counter or kiosk. Some locations may have self-service kiosks where guests can place their orders electronically, while others have traditional cashier stations where guests can place their orders with a cast member.
- Menu Variety: Quick service restaurants offer a variety of menu options, ranging from classic fast food items like burgers and fries to healthier options like salads and sandwiches. There are usually choices for all tastes and dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
- Speed of Service: As the name suggests, the service at these restaurants is quick. Once you place your order, you'll typically receive your food relatively quickly, especially compared to table service restaurants where you might wait longer for your meal.
- Seating: Most quick service restaurants have ample seating available nearby, either indoors or outdoors, where guests can enjoy their meals. Some locations may have limited indoor seating, especially during busy times, but there are usually plenty of outdoor seating options as well.
- Mobile Ordering: Many Disney quick service restaurants offer mobile ordering through the My Disney Experience app. This allows guests to order and pay for their food in advance using their smartphones, bypassing the regular ordering line and potentially reducing wait times.
Quick Service Meal Plan
- Credits: Guests receive a certain number of meal credits per person, per night of their stay. These credits are typically divided into Quick-Service Meal Credits, Snack Credits, and sometimes Resort Refillable Mug Credits (for unlimited refills at self-service beverage stations at Disney Resort hotels).
- Redemption: Quick Service Meal Credits can be redeemed at designated quick-service dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. These locations offer a wide variety of menu options, including sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza, and more.
- What's Included: Each Quick Service Meal Credit usually includes an entree and a non-alcoholic beverage. Some locations may also include a dessert or a side dish with the meal. Be sure to check the specifics of each dining location, as offerings may vary.
- Flexibility: One of the benefits of the Quick Service Dining Plan is its flexibility. Guests can use their meal credits whenever they choose during their stay, and they are not limited to specific meal times. This allows for spontaneity in dining choices and can be especially convenient for guests exploring the parks.
- Planning: It's essential to plan your dining reservations in advance, especially for popular dining locations or during peak seasons. Guests can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance through the My Disney Experience website or app.
- Maximizing Value: To get the most out of the Quick Service Dining Plan, consider using your snack credits for smaller meals or snacks throughout the day and saving your Quick Service Meal Credits for larger meals. Additionally, look for dining locations that offer more substantial or unique menu options to maximize the value of your credits.
- Additional Considerations: Alcoholic beverages, specialty drinks, and certain menu items may require an additional payment beyond the meal credits. It's also important to note that unused credits expire at midnight on the day of checkout, so be sure to use them before your departure.
Disney Dining Plan
- Inclusions:
The Free Dining Plan includes meals and snacks at select restaurants within the Disney World Resort. The plan typically consists of quick-service meals (usually breakfast and lunch) and table-service meals (usually dinner), along with snacks and some drinks. You will also get a refillable mug to use for drinks in your hotel.
- Value: This plan is by far the most comprehensive. The Free Dining Plan can represent significant savings for guests, as dining at Disney World can be quite expensive. It allows guests to enjoy meals at a variety of restaurants throughout the resort without worrying about individual meal costs. This plan gives you the biggest selection of eateries and includes themed meals and character meet and greet dining.
I have been busy this week calling all of my customers who love Disney. I can see from the amount of bookings that I am taking that people are delighted the Free Disney Dining Plan is back. Will 2025 be your Disney year?
